Jamageddon, new blues, rock, jazz and jam festival of Lehigh Valley bands, slated (via The Morning Call)

A new music festival that will bring two days of blues, rock, jazz and jam band music by both veteran and new Lehigh Valley bands has been scheduled for later this month.

The event, to be called Jamageddon, will be Jan. 29 and 30 at Allentown EconoLodge, 1151 Bulldog Drive in South Whitehall Township.

Featuring 13 bands, Jamageddon will be headlined by Lehigh Valley favorites Bluz VIPz – the all-star collective of Valley blues singer Bev Conklin, guitarist Dana Gaynor, Brian Bortz, Chicago Carl Snyder, Brian Berlanda and Joe Mac.

Also featured will be Valley blues favorites Friar’s Point, and Dana Gaynor Band will conclude each night, with an all-star jam on  Jan. 30.
