Kenny Barron and Ray Drummond (Friday and Saturday) Last year around this time, the West Village welcomed a spruce new jazz room, Mezzrow, with a stated emphasis on piano duos. The club has thrived, and will celebrate this weekend with a marquee booking: Mr. Barron, an erudite postbop pianist, and his longtime associate Mr. Drummond, an unerring bassist.
