Patti LaBelle rocks New Orleans Jazz Fest in red sequins (via NOLA)

Before Patti LaBelle even hit Jazz Fest’s Congo Square stage on Sunday (May 7), fans screamed for the soulful diva.

The announcer couldn’t say her name fast enough.

LaBelle, 72, stormed the stage in an all red, sequins dress with winged sleeves and red pumps singing “New Attitude.”

With a full band and backup singers behind her, LaBelle gave a shout-out to them early during the performance.

But she didn’t stop there.

LaBelle recognized her fans, too, who are native to New Orleans and other places like Australia, Cleveland and Los Angeles.
